Custom AI Agents for Australian Businesses

We build AI agents that run your reconciliation, follow-ups, reporting and more, to save you time and money.

Custom AI agents run scheduled tasks like invoice reconciliation, lead follow-up and reporting automatically, without anyone having to ask.

Most businesses already have chatbots and automations. What's usually missing is something that acts on its own, on a schedule, without waiting to be asked. That's what an AI agent does: it's given a goal, not a single instruction, and it can check its own results, catch what's been missed, and only bring in a person at the point a decision actually needs making.

AI Agents that Run on Autopilot. You Stay in Control

What we build

We design and build AI agents that run in the background of your business, watching for the things a person would otherwise have to check manually.

“Matt is very knowledgeable and simplifies the process of implementing AI into our business. Currently the agent he built is saving me 4 hours per day.”

How we work

Discovery

We spend 30 minutes understanding your business — which tools you use, where your team loses time, and what you want to be able to do that you can't right now.

Roadmap

We provide clear recommendations on the best AI systems and/or platforms to use, what they’ll cost, time to implement and how they could fit into your operations.

Build & Test

We build and test your agent(s) against your live systems. Most projects are delivered 4 - 6 weeks depending on the complexity and scope.

Deploy

We walk your team through everything, make sure it's running as expected, and stay available for ongoing support and additions.

Certified Claude Partner

HYPHN is a certified Claude partner. The agents we build run on Claude, Anthropic's AI model, the same technology now built directly into Xero for on-demand financial questions. Our agents extend that further: instead of answering when you ask, they run on a schedule and only bring in a person at the point a decision needs making. Every agent is built with clear guardrails, and nothing gets auto-actioned without the oversight you set.

FAQs

An AI agent is software that's given a goal rather than a single instruction, and can take a sequence of actions, check its own results, and adjust, without someone directing every step. Unlike a chatbot, it doesn't wait to be asked. Unlike simple automation, it isn't limited to one fixed rule.

What is an AI Agent?

1

How is an AI agent different from regular automation?

2

Regular automation follows fixed rules: when X happens, do Y. It can't handle anything outside that rule. An AI agent is given a goal and figures out the steps to reach it, adapting as it goes, which is what makes it possible to hand over an entire process rather than one trigger.

Do you build agents using Claude?

3

Yes. HYPHN is a certified Claude partner, and Claude handles the reasoning and matching logic inside the agents we build. It's the same AI now built into Xero itself, we build the scheduling and orchestration layer around it that turns an on-demand assistant into something that runs unattended. If you have a preferred platform, we can also build to your needs.

Is the agent fully autonomous, or is a person still involved?

4

A person is still involved wherever it matters. Every agent HYPHN builds includes clear guardrails: it flags, recommends, and summarises, and nothing gets auto-sent, auto-invoiced, or auto-actioned unless you specifically want it to be.

Custom agent builds start from $500 for a single, well-scoped process. More complex builds involving multiple systems, custom logic, or ongoing maintenance will cost more depending on scope. Book a free 30-minute call and we'll give you an estimate before you commit to anything.
